Head Chef Scott Rasmussen
Raised in the Midwest from Wisconsin to Texas, Chef Scott developed a taste for adventure and travel but was unable to jaunt across oceans himself. So, his taste buds had to travel for him. Becoming a chef was just a natural step in traveling and he sought out chefs and restaurants from across the globe to bring a new world of flavor to every table he served.
Graduating from Escoffier school of culinary arts with an associated degree, it was a good foundation to work on. From there he spent 8 years traveling from restaurant to restaurant learning from chefs specializing in classic American, Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, French, and Italian cuisine. Yet, it wasn't enough and he decided to master every cuisine there is through immersion in the culture and prying our family recipes from immigrants from across the globe.
Now we dedicate a week every year to travel to the countries on our menu and truly get the most authentic food possible. So far, we have traveled to Mexico and every state in the USA with South America next on the list.
